Sweet and Spicy Chicken Drumettes
- Sauce Pan
- Rimmed Baking Sheet Pan
- 6 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Cup Mike’s Hot Honey
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Ancho Chili Powder
- 2 Lbs. Chicken Drumettes
- 2 Tbsp. White Vinegar
- 2 tsp. Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper
- Aluminum foil
In small sauce pan add the butter and melt over medium heat. Once melted add in the honey and cook until the bubbly about 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat and add in the vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, ancho chili powder and garlic powder. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Place aluminum foil on baking sheet and place drumettes and brush each side of the chicken with the marinade.
Bake chicken until cooked through about 25-30 minutes until a thermometer reaches 165° F
Making sure to baste all sides of chicken with mixture half way through cooking time.
Once chicken is fully basted and fully cooked remove from oven and allow to cool for 5-8 minutes to allow juices to absorb back into the chicken, serve hot.
I like to serve with Cast Iron Brussels sprouts with bacon and onions
